I think it’s fair to say that the Jubilee was a washout. Literally. The constant down pour of rain sadly stole the show during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
Onwards and upwards however as we still have the Olympics to look forward to, so don’t throw out your union jack prints just yet! Until then, here are a few high street favourites to keep you looking on trend.

All Saints continue their dedication to pastel shades this summer with this cool tricolour shirt. The colours blend perfectly together without being as bold as a block coloured shirt making it perfect for those summer night drinks with friends and evening BBQ’s.

These shorts are so 90′s that I’m pretty sure I had a pair back in the day. They are a perfect festival option for the summer and although the print is popular now, the monochrome colour palette means that they will outlive the current trend.

Aztec prints are still prominent on the high st and this new addition from Topman breathes new life into the trend. The mix of black, green and orange gives the shirt a more ‘global’ feel than we’ve seen with a lot of the other Aztec designs – in particular the neon colours that some retailers have incorporated into the trend.
